FDU — Firmware Distribution Utilities

This utility enables the installation of DJI firmware directly from a file. It provides the capability to either downgrade to a previous firmware version or install a specific firmware build from a local source.

The available features vary depending on the utility version. A detailed description of each version is accessible within the program's selection interface.

  • FDU — a tool for installing firmware on DJI controllers from a local file..
  • Supports all popular DJI controller models, including RC Pro, RC Pro Enterprise, RC Plus, RC-N1, and RC (RM330).
  • FDU 2 — installs firmware on consumer DJI drones from a file.
  • Supports models such as Mavic 3 (Classic, Pro, Enterprise, Thermal), Mavic 2 (Enterprise, Advanced), Mini 3 Pro, Mini 2, and others.
  • FDU 3 — installs firmware on industrial DJI drones from a file.
  • Supports Agras drones (T series) and Matrice models (30 / 300 / 350).

To launch the program, open the Companion menu and navigate to Tools → Add-ons Manager, then select the required version to start it.


How to use the program

After launching the program, click the “SelectFW” button and select the firmware .bin file. The location of this button may vary between versions.
In FDU 3, use the buttons shown in the on-screen image to choose the firmware file and begin the process.
Wait 30 seconds, then click “Flash” (Start) and allow the process to finish.
