Web Streaming is a service that enables the distribution of video streams from the ONE system across a local network or via the internet.
This functionality is available in Companion III version 3000 and is compatible only with devices running ONE III firmware version 3005 or higher. Key Advantages:
Accessible through any modern web browser on various devices (smartphones, tablets, smart TVs).
Supports an unlimited number of concurrent viewers.
Eliminates the need for resource-intensive third-party applications, account logins, or additional setup steps for the operator.
To configure stream sharing, first initiate the streaming mode within Companion. Then, navigate to Settings → Server and enable the Web Streaming option.
Important: For correct server operation, it is necessary to open ports 80 and 54330 in the firewall settings of your computer or network router. Please note that this specific feature is available exclusively in Companion Pro.
To open the control menu containing the stream URL and QR code, use the following keyboard shortcuts:
Ctrl + 1 / Ctrl + 2 / … / Ctrl + 8, where the number corresponds to the specific streaming device window.
Following this, select your preferred method for sharing the stream with viewers. You may copy the provided URL link and distribute it; recipients simply need to enter this address into their web browser. Alternatively, you can use the generated QR code, which can be scanned using the camera of a mobile device.
Note: all devices must be connected to the same network for this feature to operate correctly.
The setup is now complete, and the system is ready for use!
